The Titan IV family of space boosters were used by the U.S. Air Force and at the time of its introduction, the Titan IV was the "largest unmanned space booster used by the Air Force." The Titan IV was developed to provide assured capability to launch Space Shuttle–class payloads for the Air Force.

The Titan IV was the last of the Titan family of rockets, and was retired in 2005 due to its high cost of operation. They were launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL and Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA. Choice of launch site depended on mission parameters and mission goals. The final launch (B-30) from Cape Canaveral AFS occurred in April 2005, and the final launch from Vandenberg AFB occurred in October 2005.

This specific Titan IV comes with the solid rocket motor upgrade (SRMU). This handcrafted model is painstakingly built by our skilled craftsmen with a wealth of detail and makes a great gift for any space buff or history fan.
