TMP TOYS / MCFARLANE'S TOYS
From McFarlane Toys. Overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds, the Cleveland Cavaliers were crowned 2015-16 NBA Champions! In clinching the franchise's first NBA title, the Cavs also brought the city of Cleveland its first professional sports championship in over fifty years. The Cavaliers' high powered offense propelled them to a sweep of the Detroit Pistons and Atlanta Hawks in the opening rounds of the NBA Playoffs. In the Eastern Conference Finals Cleveland defeated the Toronto Raptors in six games to advance to the NBA Finals for a second consecutive season. Facing the defending champion Golden State Warriors, who set the single season NBA wins record with 73, the Cavs found themselves on the brink of elimination down 3-1 in the best of seven series. No team in NBA Finals history had ever come back from that deficit. In what wound up being a performance of historical proportions, Finals MVP LeBron James poured in back-to-back 41 point games leading the charge as Cleveland completed the comeback and defeated the Warriors in seven games, fulfilling the Ohio native's promise to "win one for 'The Land.'" Celebrating the Cleveland Cavaliers' NBA title, McFarlane Toys presents its NBA Championship 3-Pack. These highly detailed, 7" scale figures of LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, & Kevin Love come sculpted in Cleveland's alternate blue uniform with the official NBA Finals patch. Figures will also come with a detailed, scaled replica of the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy, and can be showcased on Cavaliers championship themed sectional bases. LeBron James became only the third player to ever have a triple-double in Game 7 of the NBA Finals and earned his third Finals MVP award. During the series, James led both teams in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks, becoming the only player to ever accomplish this feat in any playoff series. Kyrie Irving, Cleveland's All-Star point guard, averaged 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists during the NBA Finals, and had an unbelievable 41 point performance in Game 5. In Game 7 Irving drilled a three pointer with 10.6 seconds left in the game, giving Cleveland the lead they would ultimately keep to clinch their title. Power forward Kevin Love rounded out Cleveland's "Big 3," averaging 15 points and 9 rebounds throughout the 2016 NBA Playoffs. In their decisive Game 7 victory over the Warriors, Love led the Cavaliers with 14 rebounds.
